History-Themed Summer Trail 2026
FREE to enter! Running across the 6-week school summer holiday, from 18th July – 6th September.
Visitors will collect a trail sheet from the library, Tourist Information Centre and various businesses and explore Bishop’s Stortford town centre looking for a series of historical images displayed in participating business windows.
Each poster will feature a different historical image linked to Bishop’s Stortford.
When visitors find a poster, they must write down the name of the business where they found it on their trail sheet.
Once all images have been found and the trail sheet has been completed, participants return it to the library.
In return, they will receive a free Discover Stortford branded pencil case and colouring pens, ready for them to colour in themselves at home, and entry into the prize draw. Great prizes to be won!
